Development Manager
Leading the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts for nearly six years has been an extraordinary journey. Like so many Executive Director colleagues who led nonprofits through the pandemic and now face increasing demands and unpredictability in 2025, our limits continue to be tested. Yet giving up isn’t an option—we persevere because people continue to be diagnosed with cancer every day!
Since the pandemic, the number of unique individuals we’ve served has increased by 862%, and visits to our art gallery have grown by 585%. While our small but mighty team has the expertise to help people heal during times of crisis, uncertainty, transition, and grief, now is the time to invest in a full-time fundraising professional who can help us raise the resources needed to meet this growing demand.
I’m excited to share that we’re looking to hire a Development Manager to join our committed and compassionate team at this pivotal moment in our journey. This role will be instrumental in shaping and strengthening Smith Center’s $2M+ fundraising strategy, systems, and donor engagement efforts, partnering with me to build sustainable growth from the inside out.
The Development Manager will serve as an emerging leader, partnering with me and a people-first leadership team to advance our mission rooted in the belief that healing is always possible—even when curing is not.
Please send your resume with a cover letter explaining what aspects of the role you are most excited about and how your previous life and professional experiences have prepared you for this role. Please also share in your cover letter why you believe the Smith Center should consider you as our next Development Manager (maximum 2 pages). Send all materials to Jee Yon Pae, jee@idevosolutions.com.
